History: Wiki on Panda and the show in general It isn’t the best and some of the trivia I don’t think should be counted as canon (Like just because you can sing a K-Pop song doesn’t mean you can “understand Korean”), but the history itself isn’t bad. If this isn’t good enough for you though just let me know!
Personality: Panda is a nerd, first of all. The only kind of books he seems to read are manga and cheesy teen novels and he gets really invested in both, being an outright otaku who draws in a faux anime style in the first case and willing to argue with teenage girls over plot point with the later. He also gets over invested in video games. Up to and including breaking a video game console because he died in an important area. Of course Panda isn't just a huge otaku but
While he doesn’t see it that way, he is the heart of his brother’s “team”. He definitely has a very healthy relationship and he seems to be closer to his youngest brother Ice Bear than Grizz is with him, while he also can have more in-depth conversation with Grizz. So while the brothers love each other equally, Panda seems to be able to have stronger conversational abilities with those he cares about.
Despite being the middle child, he is seen as the “baby” of the group to Grizz and Ice Bear. This stems from the fact that Grizz, being the oldest, is the leader and Ice Bear despite being the youngest, is the most competent of the three. Because of this, he fosters some insecurities about himself. He also denies being cute constantly even if he does adorable things
Panda is a huge romantic. In almost every episode revolving around Panda, it’s about him falling hopelessly in love with some girl and trying to get her to fall in love with him and he is the only one of his brothers who is truly interested in romance. The downside to this is that he is pretty terrible. He clams up when a girl he likes pays attention to him and will resort to somewhat dirty tactics to get their attention. The worst he ever gets is locking his brothers in a closet to go hang out with a crush.
His insecurities about this flare up in Dangan Roleplay, where coming face to face with his inability to do much of anything, this reaches a climax when he is murdered only two weeks in at being trapped in the Orphanage. Because of this he starts to believe that he’s not good at anything and believes that his brothers would be better off without him
However, even though Panda’s CRAU had him trapped in a murder game, he did gain some positive qualities too. He was able to develop a lot of friends during his time in the Orphanage and he can consider nearly all the students in the round. So he's a lot less awkward in making friends and is a lot more willing to try to make friends.
While it’s a put down for him his new thoughts about being a useless member of society wasn’t unfounded. Panda has no house care skills and he wasn’t able to hold a job for more than a day. It was even so bad that his little brother, who did the mass majority of the house care, left them temporarily because he felt unappreciated by his brothers. Even after Panda learned his lesson, he doesn’t seem to actually start helping his little brother with the chores.
Ever since he died he’s been striving to be a better person and to not be a useless NEET. Even before then he really started to realize that he’s not good at much, but dying really cemented that in. Now he wants to help out in any way his can. This includes being there for his friends and attempting to be a more productive member of society.
There will still be some “useless NEET” qualities leftover, though, if only because Panda isn’t used to being a, for lack of a better term, “worthwhile member of society”. This will be especially present in his eventual job, where he will definitely be terrible at it for the first month, and for even longer he will dread the idea of the possibility of getting up early for said job and will complain to any possible roommates.
He also now likes children more than he did before entering DRRP, when he died, he and the other dead students discovered a baby rat and Panda was the first to make a positive connection with the baby. Because of this and the fact that Panda was the oldest non-Daffy student in the afterlife, Panda decided to take care of him. Even though he was kind of bad at first (and left him alone in his room multiple times), he was, in the end, a good foster parent for the baby. That combined with his good relationship with Chloe, a 10 year old friend from his home, he is pretty good interacting with children.
Debt: His wish is to become a better brother and friend
Previous Game Info: After the episode Cellie, Panda along with 19 other people were kidnapped by Monobear and locked inside a building that was once the Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends. After about a half hour he realizes that this was a murder situation much like a game he saw before and starts freaking out, warning people that they’re going to die.
Few people believe him but they soon learn their dire situation once Monobear shows up, telling them all that the only way they can escape was if they kill each other. Everyone understandably freaks out but they all decide that they should try to escape as soon as possible.
Panda soon realized that if he wanted to have a good chance at making it out alive, he had to try his best to get on the other student’s good sides, so he tries his best to be friendly and caring to the other students, although the results varied because he was still pretty socially awkward and it was hard for people to ignore that he was a black and white bear like Monobear.
He still made some friend though, especially Sokka and Aelita (although he did accidentally upset Aelita but suggesting that they might be stuck in a virtual reality). He did very quickly make some enemies in the building too, especially Ren and Squidward, who wanted to hold him hostage to lure Monobear and murder him in case he tries something respectively. It scared Panda, especially since he honestly didn’t think he did anything to deserve the hatred,
However, after the first week a wall was built, splitting the CN side from the Nick. Monobear is now stating that they are in teams and every Monday they have some kind of competition to decide who gets a Motive. That week they lose the competition and unbeknownst to Panda this is what starts to lead Panda to his demise.
What he didn’t know that while Ren and Squidward were on the other wise of the wall, there was someone who wanted to get rid of him because he thought he was related to Monobear: Daffy Duck. Ever since that Monday he started to plot to murder him in hopes that all the students would love him for getting rid of him, and he was going to do it by taking advantage of his deadly peanut allergy.
Near midnight on Thursday, Panda can’t fall asleep. He knew that someone was going to die very soon but he didn’t know who it will be and when it will happen. He tried to distract himself in any way he could, mainly by writing journal entries and a letter to Sokka for when morning comes, but nothing he did helped. In a desperate attempt to calm his nerves, Panda snuck off to the kitchen to grab something to eat. He figured that it was so close to the stares that he would have nothing to worry about.
He was wrong. Just a little while earlier Daffy had replaced the boxes of cookies with homemade peanut cookies in hopes that Panda would take them. It succeeds but once Panda takes a bite he both realizes that it's full of peanuts and the fact that it tasted absolutely horrible he is unable to fully succumb to anaphylactic shock instantly.
Daffy then panics, and rushes out from his hiding spot and hits him with a coffee pot. It hurts, Panda is still lucid enough to realize the danger he is in and in desperation slashes at Daffy's neck. It was a good hit but it barely hit any major veins. Finally Daffy grabbed a rolling pin and bashed it over Panda's head.
Now near death, Panda decides to make one desperate attempt to tell everyone who killed him. With his remaining strength, he shakily draws a "D" in his blood on the floor before dying.
Panda awoke after dying in the Chalk Zone version of the orphanage. At first, he was convinced dying was just a dream, but once he notices the weird chalky surrounding that he was suddenly horribly alone he started to panic. He thought he was going to be alone forever until Daffy showed up, apparently discovered as the culprit and executed for it, eventually showed up. This obviously provided little comfort for Panda since he was now stuck in a mostly empty building with only his murderer for company.
As the weeks went by more and more people showed up, and for awhile Panda thought that this was it, as much as he hoped that there was a way out and loosely clung to the believe that this was all a virtual reality simulator. However during his second week of death, he and the dead students discovered a crying baby rat in the middle of the Foyer. While a little afraid of it at first, Panda quickly bonds with the baby and decides to do the bulk of taking care of the baby.
A week later after more students showed up, they stumble upon Madame Foster and Mr. Herriman, the former owner of the orphanage and her imaginary friend respectively. Despite Mr. Herriman confusing Panda for Monobear at first, they were able to get some information about what happened to the Orphanage and how they died, mainly that Monobear took over the Orphanage and murdered both of them.
For awhile it seemed like nothing else would happen, until Madame Foster realized that she could try erasing the walls because of the chalk. And with some help from Kel, the students were able to erase the wall, revealing a bedroom.
They soon discover that the room once belonged to the baby rat, and almost exactly on cue, the baby runs into the room as Panda accidentally left him in his own room a little while ago. While he was able to calm the baby down, other students discovered a morgue and melted the wall to get to that room. The baby recognizes the room and he runs off to a strange room there the students can see and listen to the living students, who are in the middle of a trial, but could only interact with them through the chalkboard between them.
At first they could only watch, since they didn't have any chalk with them. They discovered that Dr. Zalost, the baby rat's father, was claiming to be the Mastermind, having gone into despair due to his son dying. But once he starts doing a game of hangman on the chalkboard, the students were able to erase things to prove that they were there. With the help of the baby rat, they were able to find chalk and write words of encouragement to the living students, and proving once and for all they were here for them and that the baby was safe now.
The living students were already unconvinced that Dr. Zalost was the Mastermind as Muriel was well aware of who he was and believed that with the evidence, Katz was behind all of this. After all of this, the students were convinced that Katz was behind this.
And they were right. Katz finally showed up, explaining to the students that he did all of this to feed the dead student's bodies to his spiders, gain infinite power because he kidnapped Jorgen Von Strangle and stole his wand, and taunt Courage by thinking that Muriel died. The dead students were also able to convince Dr. Zalost that Katz is the reason that his son died to bring him into despair, causing him to turn against Katz.
After a big fight, the students were able to take the wand away from Katz and bring it back to Jorgen. He gives the living students a choice of what to do to him, and while they consider killing him at first, they decide the best thing to do was to tranform him into a dog and send him into the Spirit World for an eternity.
After then convincing Jorgen not to wipe their memories, Zalost realized that he had a chalk that connected the "real world" to the Chalk Zone and draws a hole to free the students from their "afterlife". With a tearful reunion, the students are free from their torment and have all escaped safe and sound.
Inventory: Panda’s naked like all the time so at most all he will have his cell phone on him when he signs the contract. Please give it back to him ASAP he doesn’t want to spend more time without it.
Abilities:
Panda is also reasonably tech-savvy, although less on how technology works and more about the social aspect of technology. He is the only one of his brothers who currently has a cellphone and a computer (although he lets his brothers borrow both). He’s also on social media and at one point even had 220 friends on the knock off of Facebook before he accidentally had horrible things posted on his feed. He is also aware of memes so if anyone needs an emergency meme he would be happy to supply it at all times.
He is also canonically very adorable, being called cute multiple times by his brothers and even strangers. He even became viral when him sneezing was put on the internet, becoming the most watched “Vine” on the website at one point.
Panda is also a huge otaku, to the point that his title in DRRP was “SHSL Otaku” He even owns a body pillow of his “waifu” Miki-chan and eats Pocky for snacks, and sometimes feeds Pocky to his body pillow. His drawing style is also absurdly anime-esque and considers one of his best skills knowing the Japanese word for “cute”.
Strengths and Weaknesses:
- Genre savvy. For the sake of it, he won’t fourth wall anyone in the game, but he is still very knowledgeable with fiction and can apply it to “real life” reasonably well. He even predicted his own death in DRRP.
- Reasonably nice. He won’t sacrifice everything to ensure someone else’s happiness, but once you get past his social awkwardness he is a very nice guy
- Good with children. While having him being with more than one reasonably well behaved child would go horribly, Panda is pretty decent with children. This is especially true after Dangan Roleplay where he had to take care of a baby for a month.
-Despite being a huge weenie, he’s not someone who would be okay with being stepped on. If someone tries to push him around he definitely call you out on it. This is especially true if he knows you already, but if you’re not too abrasive he can stand up to strangers too.
That being said he is still a huge weenie. Panda panics at the smallest thing and cries very easily.
-Emotionally immature, he is the last person who would make inappropriate jokes or anything like that, but he is still severely emotionally immature, letting his emotions take control of him very easily and being pretty clingy to people he does care about
-Physically weak. He is well aware of this weakness especially after he managed to be killed by someone smaller and lighter than him.
-Because of his murdergame situation, Panda has some slight trust issues, especially when it comes to food. Even if he completely trusts a person otherwise, he will have a hard time eating any food offered to him, since he died from tampered food.

Touching this character: Well in DRRP Panda will probably avoid most physical contact because he'll be worried that they're going to literally backstab him, but go ahead!
Kissing this character: Yeah, the above note also applies here but if you're a pretty girl Panda will probably faint.
Flirting with this character:Please be a pretty girl I dunno why you would want to flirt with the Panda but sure!
Fighting with this character: Well Panda's not much of a fighter at all so it might be less "fighting" and more "beating the crap out of Panda", but if you ask me first I'll probably say yes!

Notepad - A little notepad that comes with a free green crayon you can use to write down notes about clues. While it could be useful for notes, he already has a decent supply of paper
Boots - A pair of red boots that seem like they'd fit a monkey better than a human. Panda is not much of a shoe person, but they're kind of cute he guesses
Jellyfish Net - A net that is primarily used to catch jellyfish, although if you're a square you could probably use it to catch butterflies. He has no use for this but he doubts anyone else would have a use for it
Candy Mug - A mug that looks like it should be filled with some kind of substance you can't drink until you're 21... but it's actually full of candy. ... Okay Panda will probably eat the candy and maybe give away the mug
Driver Disguise - This trenchcoat, cap and goggles combo is perfect for stealing runabouts, and making sure nobody ever knows. - Panda has no actual need for this, but looking at this makes him laugh so it's good enough for him.
Jean Jacket - A bedazzled denim jacket that may have the ability to change your luck for the better. Extremely hard to get rid of. Hey Panda remembers this! Since his brothers aren't here it can't tear apart their relationship so it can't hurt to wear it now, right?
Must get rid of -
Shrimpola Cola- A great cola that tastes like... shrimp? Oh god, there's shrimp in it. Who did this. Your brain is burning. Ew ew ew this sounds nasty and it's an abomination.
